This is our new 4-week-old chiweenie pup.
He is so tiny that when he eats, his hind legs rise off the floor. I guess his head weighs more than the rest of him.
We have yet to name him. Any suggestions?

So tiny! How about Oscar? Or Frank?
he's a Chilly Willy "chilly" for short :)
a cute~T~pie for sure!
Dogs respond very well to names that end with an e sound. How about Fritzie!
I'm surprised you didn't get a purebred Dachshund. Long haired Dachshunds are the best breed in the world, and that's the truth according to me!
Jel: He does shiver a lot. Thanks for the suggestion!
Gazelle: He was a gift, so here he is. Thanks!
How old is he? Did he come with a name?
4 weeks old. Previously called Peanut.
My first dog was a little white chihuahua and her name was Peanut. She was very shaky but not snappy. After Peanut my dad always had a chihuahua. Do you remember PeeWee? She was an awful little dog. She was mean to everyone except my dad!
Chihuahuas are often a one-person dog. We have been told that this one was too young to be adopted. We shall see.
I agree! Don't puppies nurse for at least six weeks? My little Peanut had puppies but they were stillborn. My parents found a breeder that had a new litter of Chihuahuas. They sold one to my parents and she became Peanuts adopted baby. That little pup was PeeWee.
I thought of another name for your little boy; Chiwee!
He seems to be getting more used to us, however. We got him a big stuffed lion to sleep with, and that seems to be quieting him at night thus far ...
We have decided to call him Kokomo.
Do you still have Kokomo? Update with picture please!
Yes we still have him. Photo soon!
