THE HIGH-TECH DRIVE-IN THEATER by Robert Kirk!

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A HIGH-TECH DRIVE-IN MOVIE THEATER?
I HAVE. IT'S CALLED THE BIG SKY DRIVE-IN, AND IT'S LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MIDLAND/ODESSA AREA.

IN THE OLD DAYS, THE FIRST DRIVE-IN THEATERS HAD SPEAKER BOXES.

BUT AT THIS DRIVE-IN, YOU ONLY NEED YOUR OWN CAR FM RADIO TO HEAR STEREO SOUND!

THE FOOD IS GREAT AND REASONABLY PRICED. THE KITCHEN HAS A WONDERFUL FIFTIES DINER LOOK.

ADMISSION IS ONLY FIVE BUCKS A PERSON FOR A DOUBLE-FEATURE! CHEAPER THAN A CONVENTIONAL MOVIE THEATRE! AND FIRST-RUN MOVIES TOO! THE LAST TIME WE WENT, WE SAW HORTON HEARS A WHO AND NIM'S ISLAND!

SO....

IF YOU'RE EVER IN THE AREA, WHY NOT WATCH A MOVIE UNDER THE STARS AT THE BIG SKY? YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!

Benjie and jel: I'm glad you liked the new post about the drive-in theater. So be sure to look for the sign that reads "Big Sky" in capital letters. The movies were great! Signed, Robert
