I Like Sarah Palin

I think John McCain made a great choice when he picked Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate.  I like her for several reasons.  Here's her take on oil exploration:

And for those of you who didn't get to watch the Democratic National Convention last week, I can sum up what they said in two sentences:

1.  John McCain and Emperor Palpatine may be the same person, and

2.  Barack Obama was probably born in a manger.  More later...

I also like Sarah Palin. I think John McCain made a very wise choice! The news is loving everything they can find on her...it shows she is human. We all have troubles....I think she is a very good example of someone that can get through it! Way to go John McCain. Keep up the great posts!

Hey David

You said a few months ago you doubted McCain’s chance of beating Obama in November. In light of McCain’s pick for VP have you reevaluated that prediction?

Do you think it's true that the Alaskan north slope is potentially as valuable as the oil fields of Saudi Arabia? I hear tell that Prudhoe Bay, Alaska has enough crude to supply the United States for 200 years. What say you?

Anonymous: I am forever hopeful. I think Obama is overhyped and will implode at some point, but will it be before or after the election?

I'm not very knowledgable about how much oil is expected to exist at various locations. I've heard speculation that the Middle East may be running out sooner than everyone thinks...

One question, David: Does the photo of B.O. actually connect him with One born in a manger, or isn't it more accurately a connection to St. Francis of Assisi? ;)

Benjie: I don't know. I found the image by googling "obama messiah" and I liked it better than anything else that came up.
