Early on in this blog, I expressed the desire for the Odessa Permian Panthers to return to their "Friday Night Lights"glory days. Well, it seems that my wish has come true! Permian is going to the playoffs after their first undefeated season since 1991.The Kermit Yellowjackets are also having a banner year, their best since 1985, and they are also headed into the playoffs with only two losses this year.
